Dear friends and supporters of The Goodness Web,
This month, our COO, Elizabeth Binder, takes over the CEO Corner to share insights from recent convenings with our grantees and other donors.
Events and Learning Opportunities
As The Goodness Web grows, we are expanding the ways we can learn together and connect. Please mark your calendars for the following:
Twin Cities Salon, June 3. Twin Cities-area donors: please consider joining us for a reception in Minneapolis on June 3. Please let us know if you have suggestions for families who should join us and consider becoming part of the Web!
Harvard Business School Alumni Reception & Panel Session, June 5 & 6. Harvard Business School alumni: please consider joining us for a reception in Boston’s Back Bay on Friday, June 5 at 5:00 pm and/or for our panel session with TGW’s Co-Founders and CEO on the HBS campus on Saturday, June 6 at 2:30 pm (see official reunion agenda for more detail). Please let us know if you have suggestions for alumni families who should join us and consider becoming part of the Web!
Investment Advisory Group, September 10. Next virtual meeting on Thursday, September 10th at 12:00 pm ET. TGW donors are invited to join us for a two-way conversation. We will share some of the potential grantees we are researching and also ask for your feedback on the youth mental health issues that interest you, the nonprofits you suggest we look into, and which of the grantees in our pipeline excite you most.
- Please reach out to Jessie Shaw (jessie.shaw@thegoodnessweb.org) to secure your spot.
Second Annual Ambassador Retreat, October 5-6. TGW donors are invited to Chicago October 5-6 to strategize with us about building our community and driving greater resources toward youth mental health. The event will be structured to include time for deeper learning on mental health philanthropy, reflecting on our collective role in advancing the field, and celebrating our progress.
- Please indicate your interest here if you would like to join us then. Please reach out to Celine Coggins (celine.coggins@thegoodnessweb.org) with any questions.
We also invite your participation in the following:
TGW Mental Health Playbook. We are working to build a playbook for families experiencing a mental health crisis with a loved one. We know our network has much collective wisdom. If you would be interested in participating in a confidential interview about your experience or sharing ideas for the shape of the project, please contact Jessie Shaw (jessie.shaw@thegoodnessweb.org). All names and specifics will be kept confidential.
Host a Discussion with The Rithm Project. Consider hosting a dinner or gathering in your community featuring TGW’s newest grantee, The Rithm Project, to explore top-of-mind topics like AI chatbots and therapy and young people. Please contact Jessie Shaw (jessie.shaw@thegoodnessweb.org) to express your interest and learn more.
